Activity Description
Press conference (Dec 19, 2018) A media parley with stakeholders in the area of drug and substance abuse prevention to share ASAP campaign plans to the public. Stakeholders in attendance include NAFDAC, PSN, NDLEA, and MCN, Nigeria Police and the media.
National Conference Initiative involves the convening of stakeholders to a National conference where the menace of drug/substance abuse will be highlighted, mitigating measures discussed towards charting a clear and actionable way forward. The conference is poised to attract major stakeholders in the Government, Regulatory agencies, traditional leaders, opinion leaders, NGO’s and other influencers.
Assembly Extra Initiative involves staging a drama sketch on the dangers of substance abuse to students in selected Primary and Secondary schools with a talk given by a representative of the NDLEA and other strategic partners.
Brighter Life Hour Initiative involves staging a community drama sketch on the dangers of substance abuse to individuals in selected Markets and Motor Parks with a talk given by a representative of the NDLEA and other strategic partners.
Campus Engagement Initiative involves staging a theatre production on the dangers of substance abuse to students in selected tertiary institutions with a talk given by a representative of the NDLEA and other strategic partners.
Leader’s Forum The initiative involves a capacity building session for selected stakeholders and influencers to ensure the campaign gains ground in the State on a sustainable basis.
